Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Nelspruit.

The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for teaching and supporting children with special needs, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and working closely with Grade 1 and 2s.

The role involves collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment, while enhancing communication and social skills among the students.

Qualifications

Experience in Teaching and foundation phase education

Skills in Special Education and working with autism

Strong Communication skills

Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting children with special needs

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field

Relevant certifications and credentials in Special Education are a plus
