Job description

This role forms part of the Mint Wellness team at Pezula Nature Retreat in Knysna, within the Village n Life hospitality group.

The Role

As a Spa Therapist you’ll deliver professional treatments to Mint Wellness standards while creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. You’ll maintain hygiene protocols, build client relationships and contribute to treatment and retail sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatments in line with Mint Wellness protocols
• Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality
• Upsell spa services and retail products
• Assist with front desk duties when required
• Participate in training sessions for skills and career development
• Ensure treatment rooms are hygienic and well stocked
• Stay informed on trends and cross‑promote spa services with other departments

What We’re Looking For

• Grade 12 and a 3-year beauty therapy diploma (CIDESCO, SAAHSP or ITEC)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the spa or beauty industry
• Skilled in massage, facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures and spa‑specific therapies
• Computer literacy, Opera and ESP knowledge advantageous
• Strong customer focus with attention to detail
• Team player with a passion for learning and development
