SPA HYBRID (RECEPTIONIST & BACK-UP SPA THERAPIST)

MILNERTON - Atlantic Seaboard / West Coast (Western-Cape) - South Africa

STARTING DATE: A.S.A.P / 01 November 2025

REPORTS to: Spa Manager / CEO

EMPLOYMENT: Full Time

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday
• Shifts: 08:00 - 17:00 | 09:00 - 18:00 | 10:00 - 19:00 | 11:00 - 20:00
• Open / Close Shifts apply (must be flexible and able to work early & late shifts rotate)
• 1x Weekend OFF per month + Days in the week

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R6,500 - R7,000 Basic per month
• Treatment Commission applies on services personally done by you
• Retail Commission on products sold by you
• Incentives and performance bonuses

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Spa Receptionist experience
2. Spa therapist experience in spa / salon or cruise ship
3. Qualification: ITEC / CIDESCO / SAAHSP or similar international accredited Diploma in Spa/Beauty
4. Excellent command of English (speak & write)
5. ESP / Bookings system confident
6. Able to do basic reporting, day end & cash-up and ring up accounts
7. Computer confident including MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
8. Highly presentable and beautifully groomed
9. Ease of travel to Milnerton
10. Available to start asap

EXPERIENCE:

1. Reception experience in Spa / Salon or Cruise Ship
2. Spa Therapist employment experience within luxury hotel or Ship Spa
3. Knowledge & understanding of Spa industry & the lingo (describe treatments accordingly)
4. Exceptional guest/patient relations
5. Computer literate & skilled in booking software including ESP, Social Media & MS Office

KPI:

• Conduct Spa tours & Spa Concierge
• Digital communication with guests
• Guest preparation for services
• Attend to queries
• Operate incoming calls, e-mails or walk-ins
• Guest check-in & check-out
• Perform spa therapies where operationally required (Group bookings etc.)
