Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sound Technician to operate on-board gear for live performances and events aboard a cruise ship. You will set up mixers, microphones, speakers and amplifiers, conduct sound checks and work with performers to ensure top-quality sound while adhering to safety protocols.

Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and voyages is required. With at least two years of live-sound experience, you will troubleshoot issues, supervise junior crew, and keep equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with sound tech degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of live sound experience.
• Proficient in mixers, mics, speakers, and amplifiers.
• Strong knowledge of sound engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
