A leading digital solutions company in Gauteng is seeking a Solutions Architect to leverage technical expertise for client relationship management and solution design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design and troubleshooting, with strong communication and analytical skills. A Bachelor's degree in IT and relevant certifications are required for this role, which involves pre-sales technical design and customer engagement.
Three6five Digital Solutions are looking to add a Solutions Architect to our team in Midrand. The Solution Architect serves as a consultative specialist in sales, technology, and solution design, leveraging technical expertise to build strong client relationships.
Develop an understanding of the client’s market positioning, vision and solution value add. Provide sales support and solution expertise on qualified opportunities including all managed service offerings specific to the three6five line of business.
Assume responsibility for technical pre‑sales solution design and related justifications within the context of defined and client‑approved requirements and constraints. Work with account teams on client proposals and, when assigned to opportunities, the presales deliverables (BoM, proposal, SoW, HLD).
Working together with sales and project management, define the roadmap and milestones for each project, and the required involvement of delivery teams.
Participate in strategic account planning teams for key clients. Assist in maintaining specified billable targets through the delivery of consultative services.
Take responsibility as the technical representative for the client within strategic accounts to develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities. Assure technical competency and completeness of material presented to prospects.
Serve as the escalation point for complex incidents, supporting L1 to L3 network engineers in resolving critical customer issues. Troubleshoot and resolve high‑priority incidents for managed services customers, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with engineers to identify root causes, design resolutions, and implement long‑term fixes for recurring issues. Provide in‑depth technical expertise during incident escalation and manage escalated incidents through to resolution.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent (highly desirable).
10+ years of experience in the IT networking/security industry with 5+ years in a senior technical role involving architecture and presales.
Certifications in at least 2 of the following vendors:
