Job description

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Solar Sales Representative to join their team in the Gauteng area. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and closing sales leads related to solar energy solutions, including photovoltaic systems, solar water heaters, and other renewable energy products.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and generate leads for potential solar energy customers through networking, cold calling, and other business development strategies.
  • Conduct sales presentations and consultations to educate customers on the benefits of solar energy solutions and help them choose the best products for their needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy industry, including installers, distributors, and government agencies.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals to potential customers, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet revenue targets.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline developments, and market trends to management.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, incentives, and technological advancements in solar energy to effectively communicate with customers.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
