Job summary

A leading renewable energy firm in Cape Town is seeking an Electrician/O&M Technician (Solar PV). The role requires a valid Electrical Trade Certificate and minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrician. Candidates with solar systems experience and skills in instrumentation and automation systems are preferred. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from R420K to R550K per year, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Electrician.
• Experience in Solar Systems will be beneficial.
• Ability to alternate between commissioning and fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on PV plants and equipment.
• Perform maintenance on PV plants.
• Monitor PV plants remotely.
