Job Title: Electrical Engineer Solar PV

Location: Upington

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and alter new and existing projects
• O&M duties
• Financial reporting
• Ensure consistent reliability and availability of electrical assets by implementing robust maintenance strategies aligned with operational goals
• Manage, validate, and optimise electrical system designs, installations, and assessments
• Direct a team of electrical technicians, including hired staff and contractors, to maintain adherence to schedules and resolve technical issues effectively
• Conduct systematic risk assessments and ensure adherence to safety and electrical standards
• Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and updates on-site

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional registration as an Electrical Engineer

Experience:

• At least 5 years in a power plant environment in South Africa
