Purpose Statement

• The level I Software Engineer plays an integral part in a cross-functional team dedicated to the full software development lifecycle, from concept, to development to deployment and ultimately operating of each product. At this level, software engineers are expected to support and collaborate with other Software Engineers and the delivery team, actively participating in problem-solving and contributing to the development and success of projects.
• The Front-end Software Engineer plays a crucial role in building solutions that create great client experiences for mobile and web applications. They are responsible for translating design mockups into interactive and user-friendly interfaces, with a focus on intuitive user experiences.

Education (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Education (Ideal or Preferred)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology

Knowledge and Experience

Experience:

• 1 years’ proven experience in front-end software development, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies/language). Experience with modern front-end frameworks and technologies.

Knowledge:

• IT systems development processes (SDLC)
