Confluence, Cape Town-based FinTech firm, is seeking a Software Engineer with strong C#/.NET and SQL Server experience to join a mature product with an ambitious roadmap. While predominantly backend-focused, you’ll collaborate on the full stack with React and JavaScript in a small international team.

You’ll translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, participate in designs, and help drive AI-enabled development practices across engineering workflows.

Join the team and help build a business-critical financial technology platform used across the investment management industry. We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong C#/.NET and SQL Server experience to contribute to the development of a mature product with an ambitious roadmap. While the role is primarily backend-focused, you’ll also work across the full stack using React and JavaScript. Working within a small international team, you’ll collaborate with product, operations and engineering stakeholders to solve complex business problems, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality software. The team is also embracing AI-enabled development practices, making curiosity around modern engineering tools and ways of working an advantage.

Technology Stack

Core: C#, .NET, SQL Server, React, JavaScript

Additional exposure: AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Redis, NServiceBus and ECS.

• 3-5 years' commercial software development experience
• Strong C#/.NET development skills
• Strong SQL Server experience
