Job summary

Rewardsco is seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, and optimise secure, scalable software solutions. You will influence solution design, architecture, DevOps practices and development standards while collaborating with architects, product owners and QA teams.

You’ll work across full-stack technologies including React, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), focusing on performance, security and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience with React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Java, .NET, Python and .NET technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Java, .NET, Python and .NET.
• Strong backend API development experience.
• Solid knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles and software architecture.
• Strong database design and development skills.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Experience in Agile environments and across the full SDLC.
• Ability to translate business requirements into working, scalable software solutions.
• Experience working in hybrid and distributed teams.
• Clear criminal record

We’re looking for a Software Developer to join our technology team and play a key role in designing, developing and optimising secure, scalable and future-ready software solutions.

This is more than a coding role. You’ll have the opportunity to influence solution design, architecture, development standards and DevOps practices, while working alongside Solution Architects, Product Owners, QA and delivery teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Build robust front-end and backend solutions, APIs and reusable software components.
• Work with technologies including React, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript and serverless frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design and framework decisions.
• Develop applications designed for performance, scalability, security, resilience and maintainability.

What we’re looking for

You’re an experienced developer who can move comfortably between hands-on development, technical problem-solving and solution design.

You’ll ideally have:
