We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, person-oriented individual to join our organisation as a Social Worker. This is full-time, spanning across two of our facilities: Thomas Scott Hostel and Lefroy Care Centre, Monday - Friday.
In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial role in promoting the psychological safety and well-being of clients/residents and their representatives as the access Amana Living Services. This position provides vital information and support tailored to each individual’s complex care and social circumstances. The Social Worker assists residents and their families in understanding their care needs and navigating the intricacies of care planning, decision-making and provision of community-based services. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to empower clients and their families to achieve their goals effectively.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced role in an organised and adaptable manner. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as this role will see you interacting with residents and their families and engaging the multidisciplinary team to provide an autonomous high level of care to meet the needs of our residents and their families.
