Job Title: Social Seller

Reports to: John Davy
Location: Remote, South Africa

Compensation: $1,500 per month
Employment Type: Full-time, Freelance, must cover UK evening/ US Day

About the Role

As our Social Seller (LinkedIn-Focused), you’ll take the lead in driving meaningful engagement and relationship-building on LinkedIn. You’ll identify the right audiences, start authentic conversations, and create opportunities that lead to real business results from program enrolments to strategic partnerships.

This is a key role where you’ll work directly with John and collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams. We’re looking for someone confident, proactive, and highly skilled at using LinkedIn as a sales channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a LinkedIn outreach strategy to engage key target audiences
  • Build meaningful relationships with prospects, partners, and decision-makers.
  • Manage daily LinkedIn activity -including connection requests, personalised messages, and thoughtful engagement.
  • Create and test outreach sequences that generate quality leads or meeting opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure LinkedIn messaging aligns with brand tone and campaign goals.
  • Track activity and outcomes using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar).
  • Provide weekly performance updates and insights on lead quality, engagement, and conversion trends.
  • Represent the Marisa Peer brand professionally and authentically in all communications.

About You

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in social selling, LinkedIn lead generation, or B2B outreach.
  • Proven success generating leads, booking meetings, or managing conversations that convert.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills - able to write with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and confident working remotely.
  • Skilled in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and basic analytics tools.
  • Interest in personal development, wellness, or coaching is a plus but not required
