If you're an algorithm expert, obsessively curious about how content goes viral or simply have God-given abilities to know what works and what doesn't on the algorithm then we need to chat…

You will be managing your own team of graphic designers and video editors to help produce highly engaging and viral content for our clients across Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, and more!

You'll also be welcomed into a team of highly motivated and ambitious individuals committed to growing personally and professionally!

SimplexMedia clients consist of a range of personal and business brands from top coaches, executives and coaches to skincare brands and exciting startups. As a social media strategist, you will manage a roster of clients to ensure targets and expectations are being met. This role is perfect for those who are obsessively curious towards social media yet appreciate a balance of people orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and strategise how to make a specified brand get maximum engagement and go viral based on data analytics and research
• Manage a team of graphic designers and video editors to assign specific content to be made weekly for each client
• Liaise with clients directly to understand specific targets and expectations
• Remain goal-orientated with your approach and leadership to help your team strive to meet client expectations
• Remain vigilante of industry trends, hacks and secrets to help deliver results
• Think creatively and effectively, coming up with new ideas and ways to potentially go viral!
• Provide support where possible to other team members in helping contribute to the overall growth of the company

Requirements

• Experience with growing social media accounts prior (ideally from 0)
• Curiosity and excitement towards figuring out how to help social media content go viral and get maximum engagement
• An eye for viral video creation, know bits to clip and how to make them even more thumb-stopping
• A hustler in their own right - driven to grow and develop internally and externally
• Ability to use your initiative, self-solve problems, and manage multiple clients

• The ability to work independently and virtually
