Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a vibrant Social Media & PR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will craft engaging content, monitor online conversations, and support the PR team in media outreach, contributing to brand visibility in a lively office setting.

You will manage platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, respond to audiences, produce press materials, and help track campaign performance to drive community engagement and awareness across our client portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in social media management and/or public relations.
Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting abilities.
Basic understanding of PR principles and media outreach.
A creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.

Responsibilities

Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms.
Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and industry trends.
Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases and media materials.
