Latita Africa is seeking a Social Media & PR Specialist to amplify our thought leadership and digital presence within the tax and professional services space.

The ideal candidate will have a strong PR background, with the ability to position complex tax expertise clearly and credibly, while leveraging social media to engage clients, stakeholders, and industry audiencesp>

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and PR strategy aligned with Latita Africa's brand, business objectives, and thought leadership positioning.

Manage and grow our presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram with content that builds authority and credibility.

Craft and curate professional, engaging content that translates complex tax and legal topics into accessible insights for both clients and the public.

Collaborate with the advisory and marketing teams to ensure messaging accuracy, consistency, and alignment with PR campaigns.

Monitor, analyse, and report on social media and PR performance; adjust strategies to optimise reach, engagement, and brand perception.

Stay informed of industry developments, tax compliance trends, and social media best practices to maintain Latita Africa's position as a trusted expert.

Requirements

Proven experience in PR, corporate communications, or social media management within professional services, finance, or legal sectors.

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across multiple channels.

Proficiency in content scheduling, analytics, and social listening tools.

Deep understanding of South African market trends, professional communication standards, and industry compliance.

Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of translating technical subject matter into compelling and shareable content.

Preferred

Experience in B2B marketing or PR within tax, finance, or legal services.

Demonstrated success in thought leadership campaigns or industry media engagement.
