About Our Client

Our client is currently looking for an extraordinary Social Media and Marketing position to transform how we appear to our customer base and the public on multiple platforms, while keeping a consistent image and messaging style. This position is self-managed in nature, and will encompass social media marketing, traditional marketing, and digital marketing as well as handling communications and community engagement, while creating and increasing brand awareness, driving sales and enhancing the customer experience. We are seeking someone passionate to nurture the brand and make it identifiable and remarkable. The ideal candidate is charismatic, proactive, and au fait with social and digital marketing of extremely high-end, luxury brands on multiple platforms to different market segments / target markets.

Responsibilities and Roles

Social Media Management

  • Content creation for social media posts / captions, reels, stories, video editing, blogs, photo selection, email content, etc.
  • Content development on-site photography and cinematography, interviews, before & afters, project reviews, etc.
  • Social content scheduling for all social platforms.
  • Social media advertising: creating and implementing a strategy with brand messaging in mind, paid and unpaid.
  • Social community management and managing reviews / comments.
  • Basic graphic design abilities to create infographics and relatable imagery; increase traffic to the website, analyze trends and develop new strategies, measure ROI.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Create and send regular newsletters / mailers.
  • Build an online audience through our website and social media; stay up to date with the latest trends and platforms (available but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp, YouTube, MailChimp (or similar).
  • Branding & Marketing
  • Be proactive in developing content and media opportunities; visit sites, take photos / videos, form relationships to receive usable content.
  • Maintain and update all necessary internal and external stationery / signage / displays / marketing and keep in line with brand identity.
  • Ensure all marketing material is relevant, up to date and corresponds well with each other.
  • Be available to attend events, host stands, working closely with the sales team.
  • Build relationships with partners (architects, contractors, suppliers, service providers) and grow the database of contacts.
  • Establish the company’s key communication message and plans to get this message out across trade, media, direct customers, public relations, advertising, trade shows, website, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Assist in event organising / planning.
Requirements
  • Marketing related tertiary qualification preferred
  • 1-3 years experience within a strategic marketing role
  • Expertise in a range of design programs including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, CapCut or similar
  • Basic video editing and photography skills will be a bonus
  • Strong understanding of SEO / SEM
  • Google analytics certification
  • Presentation and public speaking abilities
  • Ability to fit into a close-knit "family" style team
  • Be creative, proactive, interactive and goal oriented
