Job summary

Mediclinic in Bloemfontein is seeking a Senior Professional Nurse to support the Unit Manager by ensuring safe patient care and reducing clinical risks. The role includes direct patient care and mentoring students and junior nurses within the unit.

You will help manage staffing resources, enhance the client experience, and contribute to controlling operational costs while upholding clinical quality standards.

Qualifications

• Professional Nurse qualification and Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing if managing a specialist unit (e.g. Perioperative Nursing)
• 3 years Professional Nurse experience in a hospital
• 1 year mentor experience

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
