Qualificações

About the Role

Our client, a highly respected firm in the blockchain security and assurance sector, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Smart Contract Auditor to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape, ZA . In this crucial role, you will be responsible for thoroughly examining smart contracts to identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and potential security risks before they are deployed to mainnet. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the security and integrity of decentralized applications and protocols for our client's diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth static and dynamic analysis of smart contracts for security flaws.
• Identify and document vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, integer overflows, access control issues, and gas limit exploits.
• Test smart contracts against various attack vectors and edge cases.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide clear and actionable remediation advice.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest smart contract vulnerabilities, exploits, and security best practices.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of internal auditing tools and methodologies.
• Produce comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Communicate audit results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Research new blockchain technologies and their security implications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in smart contract development and auditing, with a portfolio of audited projects.
• Strong proficiency in smart contract programming languages (e.g., Solidity, Vyper, Rust).
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and common attack patterns.
• Experience with security analysis tools and frameworks (e.g., Mythril, Slither, TruffleSecurity).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and professional audit reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with various blockchain networks and DeFi protocols is a plus.
