Job summary

Dermalogica South Africa is seeking qualified skin therapists to drive sales and represent the world's no.1 skincare brand. You will engage with customers, perform Dermalogica treatments, and act as a brand ambassador in-store.

The role requires a Skin Care Qualification (NQF 4) with at least two years full-time training, retail hours including evenings and weekends, and a proven sales track record. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have Skin Care Qualification NQF Level 4 (minimum 2 years full time).
• Able to work retail hours including evenings & weekends.
• Have a passion for retailing with a proven sales track record.
• Confident in engaging with customers.
• Self-motivated and proactive in a busy store.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform all treatments and concept procedures regularly and according to Dermalogica standards.
• Take ownership of monthly targets and daily goals.
• Ensure accurate consultations and Face Mapping with each client; update records in the POS.
• Assist customers with retail purchases and follow up post-sale via phone/email.
• Be available for store activities including meetings, workshops, inventory, and promotions.
• Maintain the treatment area and stock shelves, keeping the skin bar and product pool pristine.

Key Responsibilities of our Retail Skin Therapists:

• Perform all treatments and concept procedures regularly and according to the Dermalogica Standards
• Take ownership of monthly targets and keep abreast of daily goals and targets achieved.
• To ensure that accurate and detailed consultations and Face Mapping is conducted with each new client and ensure all records are updated after every visit on the POS system.
• Assist consumers with retail and follow up with consumers telephonically/via email post product sales and treatments regarding their results of treatment and/or products used.
• Be available for all relevant store activities including meetings, workshops, inventory, unpacking orders, sales promotions.
• Maintain the treatment area (and other work areas) in a professional manner including stocking shelves, cleaning all the areas including the skin bar and product pool, and replenishing product.
