Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies in Gauteng seeks a hands-on worker to handle layout, installation, repair, finishing and maintenance of structures, fixtures and buildings, plus measuring and cutting according to client requirements.

You will move timber, operate a circular saw, use a hammer, pack and wrap pumps and spares, inspect tools, and manage consumables while keeping safety and accuracy at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Matric required, safety conscious and able to read/adhere to labels and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move wood from delivery to the wood shop area.
• Take measurements for pallets using a tape measure.
• Operate circular saw for timber cutting.

• Inspect tools and manage consumables for the area.
• Operate overhead crane to pack loads.
