A leading hygiene services provider is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the hygiene team in ensuring safety and compliance on-site in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will lead daily operations, manage team performance, and ensure that tasks are completed in alignment with hygiene standards. Responsibilities include training team members on safety protocols, addressing operational challenges, and maintaining customer relationships. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to produce a food-safe site, daily.
• Manage and achieve the Budgeted Man-hours and Purchases in their Section.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment with compliance to all statutory safety regulations.
• Manage individual and team performance; coach and develop staff.
• Responsible for all Operational activities in their section, including operational problem solving.
• Maintain Customer relationship; meet Customer expectations and eliminate plant damage & downtime.

Job description

The purpose of the role is to oversee the work activities of the hygiene team to ensure that the site is handed over to the client according to required hygiene standards. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for training the hygiene team in using all equipment and chemicals in a safe manner while also responsible for site safety and making sure that teams perform tasks timeously.
