Job description

The South African Breweries is seeking a Site Master Electrician to maintain and manage electrical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of power generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Manage Electrical Network / Reticulation; Ensure Electrical Plant Availability; Manage Shutdowns and Provide Plant Support; Manage Resources and work execution.

Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Behavioral: Integrity, Ethical Professionalism
- Leadership: Team player, mentoring and development, results oriented
- Knowledge: Power Plant equipment maintenance, transformers, switchgears, cables, motors, emergency response and electrical safety management, use of electrical specialized tools and test equipment, low and high voltage systems up to KV, operating regulations (ORHVS) authorizations as appointed operator / person
- Electrical Engineering theoretical knowledge: basic DC / power electronics systems, batteries, rectifiers, power supplies, chargers, VFD, UPS
- Electrical installations regulation and SANS
