SITE MANAGER
The above position is vacant at Southern Sun. The main purpose of the position is to ensure the posting of Security officers that all site‑specific security requirements are adhered to and that the client’s needs are always efficiently and professionally met.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.
- At least 5 years experience in the security industry / 2‑3 years experience as a supervisor.
- People management experience.
- Administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.
- Strong planning, leadership and organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Valid driver's licence Code 8 and valid PDP.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English and able to write.
- Computer literacy on Microsoft programmes.
- Must be disciplined and able to enforce discipline.
Key Performance Areas
- Maintain good relations between Fidelity Security Services and the client regarding security services rendered.
- Ensure the posting of Security Officers is done time‑ready.
- Ensure that all Security Officers meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the client.
- Constantly evaluate the service levels provided and make recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of services.
- General management and supervision of security staff.
- Ensure that all HR‑related queries are dealt with promptly.
- Investigate incidents and submit relevant weekly/monthly incident reports to Management.
