Your mission as a Site Manager

Your mission as a Site Manager is to drive the success of the Epiroc equipment by leveraging deep technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.

What you’ll do
  • Oversee the implementation of services of the project to the client as per contract.
  • Assist with identifying and rectifying project operational shortfalls.
  • Ensure the accurate monitoring of project performances and the recording of all relevant data.
  • Provide reports to the client as well as Head Office on a regular basis regarding the status of the project progresses.
  • Ensure the smooth and effective supply, delivery, and installation of parts.
  • Assist with the commissioning of machines and ensure that drilling parameters are as required.
  • To reinforce the legal requirements as required by the client’s mining charter and to see that all staff are always legally compliant.
  • Participate in product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Lead and mentor a team of service technicians, product developers, or marketing staff associated with the drill rigs category.
  • Keep accurate records of hours worked and promote safety and health issues.
  • To build a healthy relationship with the client to secure a long and profitable affiliation with the client.
  • Manage teams training, leave, PPE, medicals, vehicles, and report on feedback to the regional manager.
  • Must be knowledgeable on the MHSA.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience product lifecycle management (PLM/LCC) systems.
  • Certification in product management or project management will be advantages.
  • Completed SL1/SL2, RCS advanced & Automation.
  • Technical knowledge of Epiroc Surface Rotary Blasthole Drills.
  • Grade 12 and a recognised trade qualification (Millwright, Electrical, Instrumentation).
  • 5 years of mining experience.
  • Experience in managing a high‑performance team.
