Job Description To lead and manage the confectionery manufacturing site by overseeing Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale in line with FMCG industry standards.

The role ensures profitability, safety, sustainability, and competitiveness by embedding food safety, driving continuous improvement, adapting to seasonal demand peaks, and building a high-performance culture (The Premier Way).

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or Business.
  • Manufacturing Academy / FMCG Leadership Programme – Essential.
  • Business‑related qualification – Essential.
  • Experience managing large‑scale FMCG manufacturing (at least 5 years in confectionery or high‑speed food production) – Essential.
  • Seasonal variability operations experience – Essential.

Key Outputs & Responsibilities
  • Drive profitable and cost‑effective operations: adhere to budget, review financial statements, identify cost‑reduction opportunities, and manage outsourced service provider performance.
  • Support and drive CSLs to utilize full site capacity by delivering cost‑effective, quality products and ensuring consistent supply to CPL.
  • Continuous improvement: plan, implement, manage and optimise site equipment and processes for optimal productivity in line with full plant capacity.
  • Quality management: create a quality‑first mindset, maintain and improve the quality management system, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Asset management: implement effective maintenance best practices.
  • Innovation & supply chain: deliver against time, cost and quality standards in collaboration with CIP (Procurement, Packaging Development, R&D / Technical & CI), Marketing & Engineering Projects.
  • People capacity: develop a competent workforce through training and development and ensure high performance.
  • Governance & relationships: build relationships with key customers and distributors, support bakery sales team, identify and implement CSI initiatives, and maintain a health, safety, environmental and risk management culture.
  • EE & DEIB: implement EE plans, achieve transformation targets, and embed DEIB initiatives that foster fairness, belonging and engagement.
