Site Manager – Cape Town (Western Cape)

Location: Western Cape, Cape Town

Description

We are growing our Cleaning Services and require a skilled and competent Site Manager to join our Cleaning Operation team at one of our sites in Epping, Cape Town.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all operational functions on site.
  • Deliver a daily Food Safe Facility to customer standards.
  • Use information obtained at the site to complete inspections, micros, audits, and customer feedback.
  • Manage site budgets and staff hours as per shift schedule.
  • Responsible for staff management and resolving HR related matters.
  • Coach and mentor staff, developing their skills.
  • Drive Occupational Health and Safety and make recommendations to improve the process.
  • Ensure internal audits meet daily requirements.
  • Close out any raised non‑conformance of micros out of specification and follow up on NCRs.
  • Liaise daily with customers.
  • Assist with recruitment for the region as the need arises.
  • Assist with coordinating training interventions at site level.
Requirements
  • Management / Food Technology qualification (advantageous).
  • Essential experience in FMCG and/or cleaning industry.
  • Essential experience in Staff Management and Labour Relations.
  • Advantageous experience with a Hygiene Quality Management System.
  • Own reliable transport and willingness to travel.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • High‑quality administrative skills required.
  • Flexibility to work at various sites on short notice.
  • Comfort with the Ecowize culture and values.
  • Ability to work a strict shift position and willing to work over weekends.
  • Experience in the food production industry.
  • Ability to manage the strict flow of operations.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
  • High work standards, energetic and driven.
