Job description

Milnerton, Cape Town. We're hiring a practical, organised Site Manager to keep a business park running smoothly.

You’ll look after maintenance, security, contractors and owner/occupier service, and you’ll keep standards high without fuss.

What you’ll do
  • Plan and run routine inspections (roofs, gutters, paving, external lighting, plumbing) and preventative maintenance.
  • Oversee security and access: perimeter, gates/booms, CCTV and access control; work closely with the security provider.
  • Manage cleaning, landscaping and pest control contractors with clear daily/weekly programmes and standards.
  • Onboard new occupiers; share conduct rules/welcome packs; issue notices; handle queries promptly.
  • Coordinate internal and common‑area installations/upgrades, check quality, and enforce conduct rules.
  • Source quotes, supervise contractors, and keep health & safety files and site compliance up to date.
  • Keep tight records: monthly site reports, task logs, and assist with annual maintenance budgets.
  • Manage insurance claims and ensure survey/compliance requirements are met.
  • Supervise on‑site staff and maintain tools, stores and vehicles to standard.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in facilities/site/estate management (industrial or commercial park exposure is a plus).
  • Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing basics, CCTV & access control, health & safety, and contractor supervision.
  • Strong admin and reporting discipline; you’re proactive and fix problems before they grow.
  • Clear, confident communication with owners, tenants, service providers and trustees.
  • Valid driver’s licence; relevant trade/technical qualification is an advantage.
