Job description

As a key member of our team, the Site Infrastructure Strategist will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize site infrastructure.

This includes managing projects and maintenance related to utilities, production lines, processing plants, and buildings.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading innovation implementation on the site, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing plans to ensure the best utilization of assets.

They will also manage capital budgets and expenditures, coordinate with cluster and category requirements, and implement capital projects portfolio post-approval. Safety is a top priority, and the Site Infrastructure Strategist will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all project-related operations within the factory.

This includes maintaining and setting safe working procedures, as well as managing health, safety, and environmental aspects of project management from design through commissioning and final project handover. The role also involves optimizing maintenance cost, MTBF, and MTTR for production lines, as well as coaching and developing the team on technical and technology issues.

A strong qualification and experience profile is essential for this position, including a BSc Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical) and government certification. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record in FMCG / Manufacturing operations.

The role is based in Boksburg, and regular travel may be required.
