Job summary

Placements24 seeks a competent Site Engineer focused on roads and infrastructure for Kimberley. You will provide on-site engineering support, ensure design and safety standards, and contribute to infrastructure delivery in the Northern Cape.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with surveying tools and CAD, and a proactive approach to on-site problem solving and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years as Site Engineer, roads/infrastructure preferred.
• Proficient with surveying equipment and CAD for site work.
• Strong knowledge of road construction methods, materials, earthworks.
• Familiar with industry safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and on-site teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities on road and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure adherence to engineering designs, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site surveys, measurements and setting out as required for construction.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship, performing tests and inspections.
