Job summary

A leading construction company in Cape Town seeks a Mid-Level Civil Engineer with a BSc, BEng, or BTech in Civil Engineering. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a construction company, with strong skills in construction processes and team coordination. This permanent position offers a market-related salary and is committed to Employment Equity.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' experience in a construction company, ideally in building and/or civils work.
  • Ideally registered as a candidate or professional with SACPCMP.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed or achieve site production and financial targets.
  • Assist with the adherence and implementation of policies, procedures, statutory law and safety regulations.
  • Implement a high SHEQ standard on the site to meet and exceed client satisfaction.
  • Assist with planning and programming of the project, by measuring and evaluating operational performance, processes and resources.
  • Be effective in understanding & implementing problem solving decisions for the site.
  • Drive projects to completion.

Primary Duties

Requirements
  • BSc, BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a construction company, ideally in building and / or civils work.
  • Ideally registered as a candidate or professional with SACPCMP.
