The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing all activities and resources on the site and work with foreman to ensure project delivery within budget, safety standards and costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of on-site construction projects
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maximise project value, ensure record completion and report accurate monthly reports
• Chair site meetings with subordinates and relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations
• Manage project schedules and timelines
• Provide regular updates and reports to project managers
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site

Requirements

• BEng / BSc in Civil Engineering or Building Studies
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil construction projects
• Experience working on water treatment plants including roads, sewer and structural concrete experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
