Job description
Signature Events Coordinator

Foster engagement and support the alumni and donor experience for Georgetown University’s Signature Events.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Director of Signature Events to evaluate the effectiveness of registration processes and support the overall goals of each event.
  • Manage the preparation of event materials (e.g., name tags, supplies), process payments, and assist the event lead in reconciling income and coordinating other event elements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all event inquiries from alumni and donors.
  • Collaborate with advancement and university colleagues to plan and execute a variety of events.
  • Oversee Advancement event volunteers during the registration process.
  • Build and maintain positive constituent relationships to ensure overall event success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least one year of event support and registration experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to concurrently balance multiple high‑priority tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Mission‑driven mindset.
  • Work Mode: Hybrid (subject to review).
