Requirements
  • Live and work in Port Elizabeth
  • Grade 12
  • 5 years' marketing experience in short term insurance
  • RE5 and all relevant FSCA qualifications (candidate must be fit and proper as defined)
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Bilingual - Afrikaans and English (speak, read and write)
  • Valid driver's license (minimum code B) with own reliable transportation
  • Own cell phone
  • Must be available after office hours if required
  • Relevant tertiary insurance qualification will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and implement relevant marketing strategies to grow the short-term insurance book, including cold calling and consultations with members
  • Liaison between members and short-term insurance providers to ensure members receive high quality service
  • Oversee insurance claims to ensure fair dealing and satisfaction of members
  • Follow defined administrative processes, from inception of policy through to processing of claims
  • Be target driven and passionate and have a client-centered focus
