Job description
Shopper & Brand Activation Manager – Johannesburg.

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Shopper & Brand Activation Manager to strengthen our brand’s connection with both consumers and shoppers across key markets.

Please do not apply if you don’t have activations or promotions exp. For this role we need someone to hit the ground running with previous exp in this field due to the size and nature of the piece of business that needs to be managed.

What we are looking for:

  • Develop and implement shopper activation strategies to enhance the in-store experience and increase sell-out in close collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Plan and execute brand activations such as trade shows, sports sponsorships, in-store activations, and local brand campaigns to maximize brand visibility and emotional connection with the target audience.
  • Understand local market, shopper, and consumer insights to input into local brand planning and execution.
  • Clear understanding of role of brands in market, lifecycle stage, tools available to drive sales and equity wins with focus on delivering exponential growth.
  • Lead and develop relationships with local agency partners to optimize delivery of activities and facilitate effective timely communication.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and market intelligence, including promotions, prices, deals and evaluate their impact on our brands and plans, making recommendations to respond appropriately.
