Job description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced and talented Shopfloor Stock Clerk. This role is vital for inventory management and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • ERP System processes for all reworks related responsibilities and system movements.
  • Assist with routine stock takes and capturing of half-year and year-end stock take.
  • ERP System processes for manufacture or finished goods which have been QC/QA released. This involves costings and yield calculations.
  • Syspro admin - production order processing, issuing batch sheets, Work In Progress (WIP).
  • Forklift operation.
  • Formulating products.
  • Manufacturing plant operations.
  • Weighing materials.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Product filling.
  • Track raw material stores activities.
  • Waste handling.
  • Effluent treatment and handling.
  • Wear required PPE as specified in product batch sheets and the RAIMS.
  • Accountable for own basic discipline, following instructions, timekeeping, adhering to all company procedures including Safety, Manufacturing, Site, Quality control regulations and procedures.
  • Responsible for reporting all safety accidents and incidents, near misses and any other abnormal observations and/or events that occur in the area in which they work to the Production Planning & Admin Manager immediately (or as soon as practically possible after occurrence).
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • 1 - 2 years working experience within the chemical industry.
  • Basic experience in material handling and related ERP systems.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Must be physically fit.
