Château Gâteaux is looking for a Shop Attendant at the Liberty Midlads Mall. As a Shop Attendant you must be motivated and dynamic with excellent people skills, as well as meticulous attention to detail.

What the Role Entails

You must be able to effectively and efficiently maintain exceptional customer service, manage the resources in store and ensure that the quality of workmanship and hygiene systems are in place, whilst maximizing profitability. Performing basic food preparation tasks such as cutting slices, making hot and cold beverages as well as packaging it accordingly to the company standards. Taking orders accurately from customers and providing them with additional information about menu items if required. Preparing baked products and packaging it according to the company standards. Handling cash registers and processing payments from customers. Provide high level of Customer Service in Store ensuring customer retention. Maintaining a clean work environment by adopting clean as you go practices inside and surrounding areas of the Store. Participating in training activities to improve service skills and knowledge of products. Conduct accurate daily, weekly, and monthly stock takes as required by the Store Management. Effective communication to customers about new & existing products, other stores, online services and the company Loyalty App.

Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures.
