Job summary

Pronto Labour Team is searching for a Shift Supervisor for their operations in South Africa, Gauteng. The successful candidate will lead a team of mechanical and electrical engineers, ensuring efficient production and maintenance processes during shifts.

Applicants should hold an N6/Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Pulp & Paper or FMCG industry.

The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Pulp & Paper/Tissue or FMCG Industry.
• Supervisor Development Program is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Ensure smooth operations and production processes during assigned shifts.
• Oversee maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Co-ordinate with other departments to optimize workflow.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays if required.
