Duties
- Supervise and coordinate production line activities during assigned shifts.
- Monitor machine operators and production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP, GMP).
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members to meet production targets.
- Identify, report, and resolve production issues or bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and employee attendance.
- Train, mentor and motivate production staff to improve performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and the production area for safety and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 24 years proven experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and machinery operation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene and quality control procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and overtime when required.
