Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Poultry Shift Manager to join our clients team in the North West region. The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our poultry facility, ensuring that all production targets are met and that operational efficiency is maximized.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute daily production schedules in accordance with company standards and regulations
• Manage and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner
• Monitor and analyze production processes, identifying and implementing improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet company standards
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate with other managers and departments to coordinate activities and resolve any issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including inventory levels, yields, and equipment maintenance
• Develop and implement training programs for production staff to enhance their skills and performance

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a poultry production environment, with previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of poultry processing and production techniques
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and production management software
