Job summary

DHL Supply Chain South Africa in Durban is seeking two SHEQ Officers to coordinate and implement site Safety, Health, Environmental programmes and quality/food safety systems. You will ensure legal compliance, DHL standards and customer expectations while maintaining ISO/food safety controls.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in Quality/Food Safety and Health & Safety within logistics, with SAMTRAC/NEBOSH or HACCP certification being advantageous. This is a site-based role at Clairwood Multi-User.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years Quality/Food Safety experience.
• 2–5 years Health & Safety experience.
• 2–5 Warehouse/Logistics environment experience.
• ISO 9001 experience.
• HACCP implementation experience.
• SAMTRAC / NEBOSH qualifications.
• Environmental compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage legal registers and monitor corrective actions.
• Coordinate contractor safety management and PPE programme.
• Facilitate safety meetings and trainings.
• Maintain HACCP and food safety controls.
• Oversee environmental inspections and waste monitoring.
• Support supplier & customer compliance audits.
