Durban based Logistics company seeks a skilled SHEQ officer from the Transport, Warehousing or Logistics sector to join their team.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field is a prerequisite.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or SAMTRAC are also highly essential.
• At least 3‑7 years of experience in logistics, Supply Chain/Transport sector, or related field.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, implementing safety programs, and managing quality systems.
• A deep understanding of relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices within the specific industry.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing and auditing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Knowledge and experience of relevant HSE legislation (OHS Act and Regulations, COIDA, etc.), environmental regulations, and plant/depot safety procedures.
• Experience with internal and external audit processes, conducting toolbox talks, and creating SHEQ awareness campaigns.
