A recruitment agency is seeking a candidate for a role in Safety Management based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Safety Management and thorough knowledge of local safety legislation. Responsibilities include implementing Quality Management processes, enforcing safety regulations, and conducting risk assessments. The envisaged candidate will have the following competencies :
Grade 12.
National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of relevant local safety, security and environmental legislation :
Key Performance Areas :
Ensuring that processes required for the Quality Management System are
established, implemented and maintained.
Ensuring that processes required for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System are established,
implemented and maintained.
Carry out internal Quality audits & SHE self-assessments.
Follow-up on non-conformities (NCR''s).
Ensure follow-up on action plans after audit findings
Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, initiate corrective measures and ensure follow-up on action plans. Participate in the review of the enviromental plan.
Inspecting workplaces, investigating accidents, causes of ill-health and complintants.
Inspecting workplaces to enforce safety regulations.
Examining ways to improve health and safety standards.
Performing risk assessments on critical tasks.
