JVR Software is seeking a SHEQ Manager in Atlantis, Western Cape, to lead the site’s safety, quality and regulatory compliance initiatives within a plastics manufacturing context. The role requires a strong background in ISO/FSSC governance, incident investigation, and environmental health and safety leadership.

You will develop and maintain a site-wide SHEQ management system, coordinate audits, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification in Safety Management, Risk Management or Compliance Management.
Minimum of 5 years’ SHEQ management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in plastics manufacturing is highly advantageous.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal.
Strong knowledge of ISO Management Systems, FSSC standards, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, Environmental legislation and risk management, and QA/QC systems.

Responsabilités

Develop, maintain and improve the organisation’s integrated SHEQ Management System.
Maintain and secure ISO and FSSC certifications.
Ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety legislation and company policies.
Coordinate internal and external SHEQ audits and address findings timely.
Oversee the Quality Control Department, testing of materials and products, and QA/QC documentation.
Lead incident reporting, root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
Promote SHEQ continuous improvement across production and operations.
