Job summary

An established national packaging company in Gqeberha seeks an EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety compliance. You will conduct training, support ISO standards, and maintain SHE documentation. The ideal candidate has a background in Environmental management with strong communication and administrative skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a good understanding of EHS Regulations and policies.
• Experience in a Packaging or a Manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of Fire risk management is required.
• Must be able to conduct training.

Responsibilities

• Support ISO 14001 and 22000 standards.
• Conduct Health and Safety Induction Training on site.
• Maintain Electronic and Hard copy of SHE Documentation requirements.
• Conduct SHE Internal Audits.

Excellent Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office

Good communication skills at all levels

Good administrative skills and filing

Proactive, responsible and reliable

Excellent report writing skills

Education

Grade 12

Qualification in Environmental, Health and Safety Management

SAMTRAC with experience in a manufacturing environment
