Overview

Job Purpose

This role is responsible to steer the business allowing it to implement a broad range of programmes, projects and initiatives to achieve its strategic objectives and address delivery gaps, implement and maintain standards, manage business performance and financial measures and continuously improve operational efficiency of the team.

In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for sales steering, identifying sales trends, preparing proposals, creating and delivering presentations, identifying opportunities to create efficiencies through automation.

The role is a Functional Level V.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee & steer the Retailer/Dealer Incentive programmes or BMW Group Financial Services Retailers/Dealers.
  • Lead Product and Pricing & Sales Steering team to achieve optimal results in conjunction with Sales steering and analytics.
  • Analyse data and generate useful business reports/dashboards using tactical methods to providing insights into the business.
  • Contributing to overall Sales Funnel analysis & steering to drive the business strategy.
  • Continuously monitor business performance and provide insights and recommendations to maximize conversion to sales.
  • Screen markets and demand trends globally to extract new product or business requirements and develop the local rollout strategy.
  • Guide Senior Management & Executive Team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business unit, plan and deliver on the business requirements.
  • Make recommendation and highlight key business issues and identify gaps in the business.
  • Analyse the different business line reports to identify problem areas and facilitate problem solving.
  • Implement new reporting processes to support new or developing sales areas in all areas of the business.
  • Develop and implement automated reporting tools for sales and processes.
  • Identify and implement automation for efficiencies or process optimization affecting your area of responsibility.
  • As lead in this area, the role is also responsible to oversee the Pricing & Product specialist & Sales Reporting role.
  • Ensure accuracy through a 4-eyed principle in Pricing, product & Sales Steering
  • Oversee the Sales steering specialist to ensure maximisation of the opportunities
  • Day-to-day overseeing of Pricing & Product function to ensure Market relevance & pricing opportunities.
  • Housing and managing all key data necessary for driving business intelligence for the organization
  • Creating development plans for forecasting growth projections.
  • Identify opportunities in the market through meetings & collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to grow profitability.
  • Perform Data analysis to guide Senior Management & develop long-term goals for the business.
  • Process re-engineering and constant improvement of processes to create efficiencies in reporting & pricing.
  • To develop & regularly review the sales plan for the business to enhance the business portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience
  • Relevant Bachelors Degree in Finance
  • 4 -6 years professional experience in similar role.
  • Minimum 3 years Business Intelligence experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience in analytical modelling and the application of scoring methods and tools.
  • Proven experience in handling large amounts of data (transaction data, customer data, etc.).
  • A detailed understanding of the retail finance industry and/or motor industry
  • Sound Knowledge of Financial Services business lines
  • Above-average analytical skills and structured proceeding
  • Report writing and communication skills
  • Assertiveness and ability to present your work on management level and to multiple audiences at different levels.
  • Proven experience in Developing Strategies
  • High ability to convince and to bring arguments forward
  • Well-developed mathematical, analytical and research skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills & PowerPoint, sound understanding of MS Word
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
