Placements24 seeks a talented Set Designer & Production Manager to lead the creation and execution of stage and studio sets for diverse productions in Polokwane. Qualifications

• Degree in Set Design, Theater Arts, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years in Set Design and/or Production Management in arts/entertainment.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering tools (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Design sets for stage, film, or TV with drawings, models, and renderings.
• Manage all set production aspects: budgeting, scheduling, sourcing materials, supervision.
• Coordinate with lighting, sound, props for seamless integration of set elements.
• Supervise construction crews, ensure safety and on-time delivery per specs.
• Oversee installation and de-rigging processes, and set maintenance.
• Collaborate with art department to maintain visual consistency and quality.
