Responsibilities

• Compile reports and monthly statistics; support PMDS and QA programs.
• Provide information and support to doctors on ultrasound diagnoses/reports; ensure Batho Pele principles in service delivery.

Job description

• Package : Grade 1 R337.00 per hour; Grade 2 R395.00.00 per hour; Grade 3 R464.00.00 per hour

Requirements :

• National Senior Certificate/Matric grade 12 plus Minimum of 4 years Degree in Ultrasound or 2 years B-tech in Ultrasound that allows a registration HPCSA as an independent Sonographer. Proof of current registration with HPSCA. Sound knowledge of musculoskeletal and general ultrasound. Quality assessment procedures, methods and basic knowledge of public service acts, HR and other relevant policies

Duties :

• Provide high quality service, utilize and maintain equipment to ensure patient safety while adhering to professional prescripts. Compile reports and monthly statistics. Knowledge of performance management system (PMDS). Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs and ideal hospital realization framework. Provide information and support to Doctors on Patients Ultrasound diagnosis/reports. Promote Batho Pele Principles in execution of all duties and effective service delivery. Ensure that all Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to
