Job summary

Medical Resources Group (MRG) seeks experienced Medical Doctors for sessional opportunities across private Emergency Centres in the West Rand and surrounding areas. You will work day, night and weekend shifts in a fast-paced ED, delivering safe, efficient patient care.

Required MBChB/MBBCh, HPCSA Independent Practice, and current emergency medicine credentials (ATLS/EMATT, ACLS, PALS). Credentialing may be required before allocation of sessions; on-site practice and strong clinical judgement are

Qualifications

• Clinical judgement to diagnose and manage Emergency Centre patients.
• Clear communication with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients in the Emergency Centre.
• Provide emergency care per HPCSA standards and centre protocols.
• Manage acute and life-threatening conditions and resuscitations as needed.
• Stabilise patients and arrange appropriate referrals or admissions.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and accuracy.
• Adhere to infection-control and facility policies.
