SUMMARY

One of our clients based in Johannesburg East, is seeking a Service technician. This role involves on-site installation, fault finding, commissioning, and maintenance of hydraulic and electrical systems to company standards, as well as supporting workshop operations and managing external contractors.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Diploma Engineer and or Qualified Artisan (Fitter or Millwright), or related field will be advantageous
• Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience (2+ years) in a technical service role
• Good communication skills – Verbal and non-verbal
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills

Main Responsibilities

• On site installation, fault finding and commissioning of hydraulic and electrical systems to company standards
• Manage external workshop staff / contractor to reach end results effectively and efficiently
• Assisting in the workshop when and if required with any, but not limited to, hydraulic and or electrical new builds, repairs, faults findings and or service
• Ensure on site machines / rentals / equipment are used correctly
• Managing service & maintenance records
• Deadlines are met and any expected delays reported immediately
• Work in accordance with ISO9001 : 2015, ISO45001 : 2018, ISO14001 : 2015
• Familiarise yourself with company products and service tools and continually keep up to date with the new developments on these items
